After decades of attempts, the Leavenworth Ski Hill Heritage Foundation pushed forward in 2013 for the Pavilion & Ice Rink. The project faced setbacks, including land issues. In 2019, a temporary rink operated briefly, but it was too small for ice sports. In 2025, Leavenworth Ice Rink will bring a permanent, NHL-sized rink, fulfilling a century-long promise with daily sessions, events, and dining.
